The Goosechase poetry readings are part of Wild Goose Chase Across Dumfries and Galloway, which is a Homecoming Scotland 2009 event that has been created by a partnership between Dumfries & Galloway Council, The National Trust for Scotland, the RSPB and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, in a bid to encourage residents and visitors to come down to the Solway and find out about the thousands of geese who migrate home to Scotland each winter.
